Each month, we celebrate athletes who go beyond the game to make a difference. For January 2025, we’re spotlighting Jailyn Rogers of Southern University Bowling and the LSU Beach Volleyball team for their outstanding commitment to service.
Jailyn’s passion for giving back is just as strong as her talent on the lanes. Whether volunteering solo or with a group, she consistently steps up to support her community with enthusiasm and heart.
LSU Beach Volleyball truly embodied the spirit of service on MLK Day, taking part in three impactful initiatives. The team connected with youth at LA Key Academy’s field day, cared for rescue cats at Cat Haven, and brought color to the community by painting a mural in Eden Park. Their teamwork and dedication made a lasting impact in Baton Rouge.
We’re proud to recognize these athletes for their leadership, service, and commitment to making a difference. Their efforts exemplify how athletes can use their platforms to create meaningful change, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.
