In recognition and celebration of Black History Month, Athletes for Hope and Etan Thomas are sharing a series of panels in which athletes share their perspectives and stories on what it means to be Black in America and how they use their platforms to make the change they hope to see. The second panel in this series features Howard University student-athletes Gerone Hamilton Jr. (football), Kayla Rose (lacrosse), Bryce Parker (football) and Nasim Cooper (football). A special thank you to the Rainbow PUSH Coalition who will be donating copies of Etan’s new book, Police Brutality and White Supremacy: The Fight Against American Traditions, to students at Howard University.
